i need a white guy who sells $30,000 works of art to hedge funders to lecture me about social injustice and the brown man. this crap is lame. it is also embarrassing and totally boring.

Fascists were also skilled at aestheticizing politics. Who does he think his audience is exactly?

I am outraged and lumpy.

this work wants to be political but is in reality only a representation of politics and in the end mere propaganda.

exactly! now add that to the fact that the gallery he works with is one of the most overblown commercial cheeseball money galleries on the scene today and you have a very bad case of hypocrisy! leave it to a rich white guy to make the most simplified dogmatic work about being black and brown! so offensive! here you have bradford, hammons, newkirk and these other dudes making the most complex, generous and beautiful work about there own identity and you have to get knocked over the head by this white asshole trying to tell you what's wrong with the world and how you should feel. trying to be the voice of the negro! and on top of it all the work is lazy as can be! a lazy white boy lecturing on a soap box trying to be the voice of the black man. hand me a bucket i want to throw up.
