answer is "no." that show sucked. who curates these SoCal MFA group shows? gross.
word. CAA MFA = BS. listen people: group shows diminish the impact of most everyone's work. have some f'ing guts and mount a serious show, SoCal MFA kids!
This show was horrible. Every single little artist in there was bad.
y'all are being a bit too harsh. was most of the work interesting *and* salable? not really. but there were some pieces that were salable. and there were some pieces that were interesting. the magical combo of both attributes in a single artist/piece was missing, surely, but that doesn't debase the show's overall value.
