Good to see these photos from the Cranbrook Degree Show. Looks much more performance art driven this year, good to see. Lately I have been yearning and curious about what's happening in the Detroit art scene at the moment. I see there are some new galleries opening (Cave and ORG) but all in all it kinda looks the same. MOCAD got a new director, Mitch is still a spokesman and the city is still the most beautiful decay ever.

  1. I don't mean to self promote here, so wait until the next show but go. to .cave.

  2. There really wasn't as much performance as those pictures suggest but the above were the most initially exciting and interactive at least. It felt really otherworldly to be standing on the pile of money kicking at bills.

  4. That is what you call an art. Not every one can think and do that kind of stuff. I really wish that I can see that in person. It is going to be a great experience.

  5. Oh, the "living" works of art are so creative. I also like the huge red rocking horse. Very cool.
